Emmatone

What can I bring my eleven month old niece Emma? After some considerations I came up with the idea of "Emmatone", a small electronic music instrument. From willow branches I have braided five round rings, wrapped them with a conductive thread which is connected to a small controller board. The controller board is connected to a loudspeaker and a power supply. Each of the five willow rings are associated with different piano sounds, so playful small compositions and melodies can be created by touching the rings.
