Hörverbindung zur Quelle

The project “Hörverbindung zur Quelle” is an art project by Katarina Hinterlechner. It consists of a modified phone booth which allows users to listen to the gurgling noise of the different fountains that make up Vienna’s water supply.
LEDsMOB Projekt

LEDsMOB wurde mit einer Fördersumme von NetzNetz, einem Förderungstopf für Neuen Medien der Stadt Wien für Netzkunst und Netzkultur unterstützt.
In dem Zeitraum zwischen Oktober 2008 und August 2009 haben Nora Dibowski, Simon Laburda und Erkin Bayirli in Kooperation mit DAAL (digital art and architectur lab) ein mobiles, mediales mit Leuchtdioden bestücktes Gewebe in den Maßen 4X3 Metern, sowie für die Ansteuerung benötigte Open Source Applikation Aurinko und den Animationseditor Toublo realisiert. Mit den daraus gewonnen Erfahrungen haben wir ein hochauflösendes LED Gewebe (3072 RGB LEDs)anfertigen lassen (LEDsMOB) und eine Schnittstelle zu unserer selbstentwickelten Open Source Ansteuerungssoftware programmiert. Beide LED Gewebe wurden bei zahlreichen Veranstaltungen in Wien mit von uns entwickelten, teils interaktiven Content präsentiert.
Art on Wires Symposium May 10-13 2010, Oslo

Art.on.Wires is an open laboratory for live and interactive art where creative artists, engineers and researchers from various fields collaborate to explore and create new media technologies for artistic performances in mixed-reality spaces.
The first Art.on.Wires laboratory will take place from May 10-13 this year at Kanonhallen, an old industry building in Oslo. The four-day event will feature presentations from artists and researchers, workshops on artistic programming tools, podium discussions and a vibrant yet cosy working environment with much space for collaboration and experimentation. During the evenings the general public is invited to visit us for experimental arts performances. Kanonhallen has a huge 50m x 15m hall where we will set up two experimental stages with cameras, projectors, display surfaces, motion sensors, sound and light equipment from our research labs. Everything will be connected to a fast networking backbone to share video, sound, motion and other sensor data between all participants.

Q202 is an open platform for art and culture in the second and the 20th district of Vienna. The goal is communication and collaboration among artists, as well as the integration of art and cultural issues in urban design.
We presented our flexible LED-Matrix, mounted horizontally and bent over a girder. Visitors were able to interact with the LEDs by using a WiiMote.
